My plague es el tercer single del segundo disco de la banda Slipknot, Iowa de 2002.
Fué nominado a los Grammy Awards de 2003 como Best Metal Performance, título que acabó en manos de Korn.
Iowa entró en el top ten de nueve paises y consiguió dos nominaciones Grammy, por el tema que vemos en cuestión y por Left Behind. Han conseguido ser disco de platino en USA y en Canada.
Es considerado el disco más duro de la banda y es proclamado como el triunfo del Nü Metal.
Es una obra de arte de la cual se celebró hace poco su décimo anversario y es considerado uno de los álbumes más influyentes en el Metal actual.
Ah! Por cierto! My plague es parte de la banda sonora de Resident Evil.
